Panelists to include Paul Anthony Morris (writer), Steven Luckie (director) and Pat Cumper (Artistic Director, Talawa Theatre Company)

Identity
By Paul Anthony Morris, Director Steven Luckie

Since arriving in the UK, Cuthbert Johnson, "Captain", has made a comfortable living as a barber. His shop is a hub for the Grenadian community, and his comfortable home a tribute to his family's hard work. But behind the closed doors of this ordinary barbershop and family home lie powerful secrets.

It's the tenth anniversary of the Grenadian Revolution in which "Captain" played a heroic part. Ex soldiers want to commemorate the day and "Captain" has to confront the feelings of friends and family. The emotional and physical scars on his wife and all three of his children run deep. Even after ten years, "Captain" still isn't sure the fighting is over. While his youngest son raps America's praises, his oldest hides the scars of his interrogation and "Captain" has to confront the dreadful decisions he had to make.

Will the memory of a failed revolution and the fear of retribution destroy any hope of his family's redemption?
