About the Production
Get ready for a new order for England; a new movement led by Black British youth.
This year TYPT:11 (Talawa Young People's Theatre), our month long summer school, runs from 1 - 27 August.
Director Nazli Tabatabai-Khatambakhsh is working with 14 committed young people and a creative team including Nadia Iftkhar (choreographer), Hannah Roche (designer), Mr. Dex and Pablo Fernandez (lighting) to devise a piece inspired by 'This is England 1986 - 2011'.
Follow their journey here and on Facebook (TYPT) as they explore 25 years of Black British history. And get ready for a new order for England; a new movement led by Black British youth.
